Civils, Drainage, Ground Engineering Products and Lintels
Civils & Lintels was formed by the amalgamation of Cooper Clarke, A R Hendricks, Willis Builders Merchants, Dunpark & Warrington Slate.
The division was created in May 2006 and brought together eleven specialist Civils Heavyside and Lintel businesses. The division has since been expanded to include additional sites at Cramlington, Corby and Exeter, trading from fourteen strategically placed depots. This has enabled the company to become a national distributor of products and services to the housebuilding, contracting, civil engineering and groundworks sectors of the construction industry.
Civils & Lintels offer a specialist range of Civils and Heavyside building products from stock, with over 50,000 steel and concrete lintels held in stock at any one time, we are the UK’s premier distributor of lintels. This is all serviced by a dedicated fleet of crane off load vehicles to ensure on time delivery across the UK.
Customers can rely on the in-depth knowledge of the depot sales teams to offer technical advice, rapid material sourcing and competitive rates. Civils & Lintels works closely with major manufacturers to ensure customers receive the technical support they require. The company forms partnerships with its customers to offer cost-saving solutions and exceptional service.
Under our own Centurion brand we manufacture 2 ranges of access chamber systems used in the water, road, telecoms, power and CCTV industry. We also manufacture the Centurion range of Ductile iron manhole covers and frames in the most popular sizes.
Ecoblock is our market leading porous paving system, manufactured from recycled materials and is specified in a wide range of pedestrian, traffic and decorative applications. Neoweb is a cellular confinement system which is designed and used in road construction and embankments. Both of these systems are environmentally friendly because you can reduce your associated costs of muckaway and infill which in turn reduces your carbon footprint! Using the same design we also offer Treeguard root protection system.
