In January 2010 the businesses of Willis Civils & Lintels Bury St Edmunds and Thetford Buildbase were integrated to form a new Civils & Lintels branch. Our long-established Civils and Lintels business needed to expand and the Thetford premises provides an ideal location, situated in the heart of East Anglia and providing a road network with excellent links to all parts of the region.

The premises is two years old and incorporates two acres of Warehousing and Yard, fully racked for safe storage and ease of selection.

In addition to the well recognised range of Heavyside and Lintel products the new branch has embraced a range of traditional merchant core products and will now be able to offer the additional in-depth ranges of the following:

Timber – PAR, PSE, Sawn, CLS and Door Linings

Sheet Materials – Shuttering Ply, Far Eastern Ply, MDF, OSB, Chipboard

Insulation – Floor, Cavity Wall, Loft

Plasterboard – Square Edge, Tapered Edge and Fire Retardant

MDF Mouldings – Skirting, Architrave, Window Boards

In addition there is a Hirebase, offering tools, small plant and equipment hire and a well serviced Self- Select Area offering Paint, Mastic, Wall Ties, Soil and Waste, Polyfit, Ironmongery, Fixings and Hand Tools.

Our delivery fleet of crane unload HGVs has increased, enabling us to further improve our delivery service throughout the area, normally on a next day basis.
